It's studio Orange. That explains why the CGI is top-notch. For anyone who doesn't know, it's the same studio that made Land of the Lustrous and Beastars.

Matsuoka plays as Vash is kinda fitting, NGL.

How high were those scatter shots shot, though? They took about 5 minutes to come down lol

Veldora • 1 year ago

They changed things up, though. And unexisted a character...

GreenTea Gal • 1 year ago

i'm over here wondering where milly is

wwlaos • 1 year ago

I am not okay with this. :|

Kirito • 1 year ago

I hate this adaptation of trigun already but I'm ok with the animation of vash just a little this anime doesn't look like trigun anymore

Talo Grim • 1 year ago

I wish they would have just did a side story or something. Redesigning it kinda makes it bad

vovan1 • 1 year ago

me too

soviell • 1 year ago

she appears in the second season :]

DesuYoda • 1 year ago

Insurance agents replaced with reporters, with the master/student trope, and NO MILLIE??? What the heck??
I want my Insurance Co. agents!

Veldora • 1 year ago

Riot?

DesuYoda • 1 year ago

Very tempting to riot....🤬🤬🤬

naliux • 1 year ago

Just gimme a target boss. Full riot mode is on!

Billy Bob • 1 year ago

insurance agents lives matter

Porthya • 1 year ago

Part of the humor was sourced by the insurance mess!!! They're spoiling all our fun.

vovan1 • 1 year ago

Yes i remember the girls worked for insurance company? not news.

Ohms Nuttachai • 1 year ago

I barely remember the old one anymore so it's kinda fresh to me.

wwlaos • 1 year ago

I can probably recite most episodes word for word, so... >_>

Veldora • 1 year ago

Me as well. Been years.

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 1 year ago

Same here

vovan1 • 1 year ago

decades

Porthya • 1 year ago

I still remember the things they removed/replaced and I'm not amused.

Veldora • 1 year ago

Same. I a sorta mad.

Jullian J. Weskier • 1 year ago

He never existed. Hes Milly’s replacement apparently.

Snorlax • 1 year ago

That's nice. For me I do remember the good things though

C'est la vie • 1 year ago

Well you can always re-watch it on here. I did and was not disappointed.

Camion • 1 year ago

No Millie !??? Nooooooo :,-(

Talo Grim • 1 year ago

Would you really enjoy it if it was just a remake? I don't mind it. The great thing about the original was how stuff was slowly revealed. But you already know all the secrets to the story, so they have to do something different.

Veldora • 1 year ago

That's true. But unexisting a character? I hate that. I prolly would enjoy it anyway, since it's been many years since I watched trigun. I hate the idea of original characters not being there. Also, new viewers of the anime don't. Many 2ho don't like old animation style watch this.

Talo Grim • 1 year ago

I watched too many alternate versions of anime for this to bother me. Slayers is really bad about it. They add and remove characters from the plot in every season.

Veldora • 1 year ago

I hate that.

bu • 1 year ago

Ikr, Unbelievable people want to rewatch the same thing over and over again with different animation rather than fresh and new content.

Jazze • 1 year ago

i don't know how your takeaway from me wanting people to not plaster iconic charecters over their "new" visions means i don't wanna see anything original. i like original. trigun ain't original. can't have your cake and eat it.

Jazze • 1 year ago

i mean a remake isn't the answer with. but i also feel like when you change things enough it's also a question of "why not make something actually new?" now i'm definetly here to be along for a ride i haven't seen anything actually bad yet but i don't like the idea of just take old charecters but not really rather than be properly original. i still have hope here though.

Talo Grim • 1 year ago

It's actually really common to grab a bunch of established characters and put the in different stories. Just look at Pokemon, Slayers, Tenchi Muyo, Evangelion, Hero be mine, etc....

Jazze • 1 year ago

the point of using established charecters is to actually use the charecter not jut their likeness. these charecters does not behave like Vash and Meryl so giving them the look is pointless.

do you think people would like it if they made a pokemon version where Ash is a callous asshole who abuses pikachu and then we have a story about him matureing and learning to apriciate his pokemon? certainly a valid story to tell but not with Ash.

Talo Grim • 1 year ago

Eh, the characters are serving their roles. Vash is the gunman who won't kill but tries to save everyone and fails. Meryl is the tsundere love interest who constantly harasses Vash to push the story and answer viewer questions.

Jazze • 1 year ago

except that's not all Vash is. he's also the guy who hides his competence by acting buffonish rather than let anyone know how skilled he actually is. and to reduce Meryl to a tsundere is honestly insulting. but then what should i expect for someone who has no respect for Trigun in the first place?

Talo Grim • 1 year ago

LOL wow dude, you need to go touch grass. Seriously no one cares this much about a show that isn't unhinged. Please go back under your rock

Shugo • 1 year ago

Damn. I didn't forget about her but I was wondering what was missing. I forgot she was there from the get go. You really think they won't put the whole cast in ? I mean it really won't bring back all the feels with out the villains from before and the original crew. 'crosses fingers'. Also to be fair episode one- unless I'm crazy has already given a shit ton of info on Vash which I don't think they played it out that way before. His brother interacting with plants. I'm also not sure how knowledgeable the public was on plants? damn I'm rambling anyways. Yea. Hope the whole cast will be here.

Veldora • 1 year ago

They gave too much info and switched things up. I don't like it. Hope the whole cast at least shows up.

BlossomBerri • 1 year ago

Exactly what I was just thinking "why does so many newer animes always rush things?" I watched the original when I was still too young to really understand most of it, but what I enjoyed a lot about it was the mystery. There was no reason they had to just go an info dump so soon. The orginal Vash would have never just bring up his brother like that after being asked a question just one time. He was a lot more secretive and did a good job hiding behind his goofy facade.

Veldora • 1 year ago

one of the greatest aspects gone to waste. His face is less goofy too. Before, he could look serious and goofy. But I don't think this character design could even compare to the original. I miss the old design.

Chester Generalao • 1 year ago

Yea, really sad for me.

In the manga Trigun Maximum the concept of plants is very important. You should check it.

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 1 year ago

I knew but yeah it's real good looking.

While I have PTSD seeing that janky 3d cgi from that Beserk anime way back (0x0)

Ex-Arm is worse. Give me enough time, I'll comprise a top ten list of alternative bad CGI anime that isn't Berserk 2016.

I say this cause I love the manga and really hope that people find new cgi examples for the worst of the worst. Cause it makes me die a little inside having Berserk associated with bad CGI anime (even though the 2016 version is deeply flawed).

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 1 year ago

CGI in this is pretty good and I got a pretty good list of bad CGI of just mix/pure all already.

Snorlax • 1 year ago

I mean at the very least Berserk has a good story and IP behind it. And while the CGI is terrible, there was at least some barebones resemblance to cinematography.

Exarm.... I could make something better than Exarm after a month of YouTube tutorials, it's just THAT bad.

Aladdin • 1 year ago

Idk I thought Berserk 2016 was great. And loved the fight scenes. the cgi Berserks had by far the best fight scenes in the entire IP
